JLPT1… For the last time?

I have had a long association with JLPT, or the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or 日本語能力試験. After all, when I first took the test (level 4) was back in the December of 2001, at the age of 11.

So today I took the JLPT Level 1 examination, in a bid to secure two thousand Singapore dollars to be received over the next two years.

Pics

Generally, the three sections went like this…

Vocab: DISASTER (read on to find out why)
Listening: Average (albeit with 2 confirmed mistakes already)
Grammar/Reading Comprehension: Average

Test yourself some Japanese!

Figure out the readings and meanings for the following words:

融通
符号
阻止
迅速
該当
富豪
にじむ
案の定

Answers on the next post. (Sorry i don’t know how to make the spoiler function thingy)

Anyway, that’s it in short. I’m pretty confident that I don’t have to sit for the exam again, but I might just sit again for fun… ^^

^^ Well the results will be out soon! Don’t worry about it, or you can just buy the book next year… :P Hopefully all those who worked hard enough, or are simply brilliant, and other deserving characters will pass! =)
