Bentos

I just finished eating a bento, or what in English would be ‘packed food on a tray/container and covered up’.

Apparently, bentos you buy from convenience stores in Japan can be directly heated by microwave. And I have exercised the option to get my bentos heated up in the store several times, but other times I heat it up at the hotel microwave located 5 meters from the door (outside in the corridor).

But I just ate one without any heating. Out of sheer laziness of course.

But oh well. Japanese eat their bentos cold at work and in school anyway (a la anime…)…
